The New School Year

Hello Parents/Guardians of Music Students!

If this is your first year with us, then welcome to the E.O. Smith Fine Arts Department! If not, welcome back! There are a lot of music department events in store for this year! However, to do all of the stuff we do, we need your support. Please join the E.O. SMITH MUSIC PARENTS! This group of parents/guardians meets every third Tuesday of the month, starting this coming Tuesday- September 15th! If you can, the e-mail to join is in the mailing you received recently. Also in the mailing was a yellow piece of paper- the GENERAL PERMISSION SLIP. This covers everything the ensembles do throughout the year, and we need those turned in to each ensemble as you can. If your child is in multiple ensembles, you only need to turn in one, but please have your child notify his/her other music teachers as to who will have the form- Mr. Nardine (Band), Mr. Chaurette (Orchestra), or Ms. Rowe (Chorus).

If you have any questions, Music Parents officers' e-mail addresses are up on the other website (www.eosmithmusic.org), and the music teachers' e-mails are up on the E.O. Smith website (www.eosmith.org).

Also, please make sure that your child got a UNIFORM on Friday, September 11, and has BLACK SOCKS/SHOES and BLACK SHOES for all of the concerts. Black socks/leggings and black shoes are required for all concerts. Shoes may not be open-toed.
